TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1.    Introduction

(a)    Richmond Football Club Ltd (RFC) conducts corporate hospitality events from time to time (Event).   These RFC Corporate Hospitality Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) govern the purchase of tickets to the Events (Tickets) and attendance at the Events.  
(b)    By purchasing a Ticket, customers agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (customer or you) which form a separate agreement with RFC.  Each Ticket that you purchase may also be subject to additional terms and conditions relevant to the particular Event as set out on that Ticket.  To the extent of any inconsistency between these T&Cs and the terms of any Ticket, these T&Cs will prevail.

2.    Prices & Payment
(a)    Bookings for an Event cannot be accepted by the RFC without receipt of payment in full by the RFC.  No Tickets will be released until such payment has been received and confirmed in writing to you.
(b)    All prices for Tickets are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST.
(c)    Payment for Tickets must be made by credit card (including VISA, Mastercard and Amex) either via the RFC website (Website) or by phone to the RFC. For any transaction via the Website, payment will be processed by RFC’s third party payment provider, Stripe, and will be subject to the payment terms and conditions of Stripe (Stripe T&Cs).  Such terms are as between Stripe and the customer and do not in any way affect these T&Cs. It is your responsibility to ensure that there are sufficient clear funds available in your account to allow the transaction to be completed. You will be unable to complete the purchase if the payment is declined.
3.    Tickets
(a)    For Events that require a barcoded Ticket, RFC will send your Ticket(s) via email once payment has been received. If you have not received your Ticket(s) within one (1) business day before the Event, please contact the RFC’s sales team at sales@richmondfc.com.au or on (03) 9426 4989.
(b)    Tickets purchased may not, without prior written authorisation of RFC, be offered for sale or re-sold at a premium (including via online auctions or other unauthorised resale websites), exchanged for goods and services or be used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes (including competitions or trade promotions). If a Ticket is sold or used in breach of this clause 3, it will be void and the ticketholder will be refused admission to the Event.  This includes bookings associated with the same name, e-mail address, billing address, credit card number or other information.
(c)    Limits of the number of Tickets that can be purchased may apply at the discretion of the RFC. If you exceed any Ticket limit, any or all of your Tickets may be cancelled without notice by the RFC in its discretion. This includes bookings associated with the same name, e-mail address, billing address, credit card number or other information.
(d)    The RFC may replace any Ticket(s) that may have been stolen, lost or destroyed, provided that you provide copy of booking confirmation and/or proof of purchase. 

4.    Cancellation by RFC
(a)    The RFC may, in its absolute discretion, cancel, reschedule or modify any part or all of an Event, including in the event of unforeseen circumstances or events beyond the RFC’s reasonable control. 
(b)    The RFC will use its best endeavours to reschedule any Event (Rescheduled Event) that is cancelled however, you acknowledge and agree that:
(i)    the price of any Rescheduled Event may vary and will be notified by the RFC; and
(ii)    if the cost of the Rescheduled Event:
(A)    increases, you must pay the shortfall between the original price and the new price of for the Rescheduled Event to secure your booking; or
(B)    decreases, upon confirmation with you of the booking, the RFC will refund to you the difference between the original price and the new price for the Rescheduled Event.
(c)    If the Event is cancelled, re-scheduled or significantly modified by RFC pursuant to clause 4(a), and you cannot or do not wish to attend the Rescheduled Event, RFC will offer to you either a refund, credit or Ticket exchange for another Event for your acceptance.  

5.    Cancellation by you 
(a)    To the extent permitted by law (including the Australian Consumer Law), if you cancel your booking to an Event, you acknowledge and agree that the RFC:
(i)    will not issue refunds for any cancellations made within fourteen (14) days of the date of the Event; or
(ii)    may issue a refund if a cancellation is received in writing within seven (7) days of the Ticket being purchased and more than fourteen (14) days prior to the date of the Event.
(b)    The RFC otherwise reserves the right not to offer a refund, credit or Ticket exchange after purchase by you.
(c)    Any costs, expenses or disbursements incurred by the RFC in relation to your booking including finance charges relating to dishonoured payments, debt collection agency fees and RFC’s legal costs, will be payable by you on demand.

6.    Refunds
(a)    Any refunds given by the RFC under these Terms & Conditions will be limited to the amount for which the Ticket was purchased by you (including any fees or charges).
(b)    Proof of purchase may be required for any refund.
(c)    Unless required by law, the RFC will not be liable for any other losses incurred by you as a result of the cancellation, rescheduling or significant modification of an Event, including any travel or accommodation expenses. 

7.    Conditions of booking & entry
(a)    Some Events are delivered at facilities owned and managed by third party entities (Venue Operators). The RFC enters into agreements with such parties to host such Events sold by HFC. You acknowledge and agree that you will comply with any terms and conditions of Venue Operators when attending such Events (Venue Terms & Conditions).
(b)    You also agree to comply with the RFC Events Code of Conduct which requires you to comply with certain requirements when attending the Event.  These include:
(i)    conducting yourself appropriately, responsibly and respectfully;  
(ii)    dress codes which are specified for many Events. Dress code details will be included on Tickets and/or detailed in the information for the Event provided to you. It is your responsibility that your guests meet the applicable dress code. The RFC reserves the right to refuse entry of guests who do not adhere to the dress code; and
(iii)    minimum age restrictions which are specified for many Events. Any minimum age requirements will be included on Tickets and/or detailed in the information for the Event provided to you. It is your responsibility that your guests meet the applicable age restrictions. RFC reserves the right to refuse entry of guests who are not of the minimum age specified.
(c)    In addition, the RFC may deny you entry to, or cause your removal from, an Event where RFC has reasonable grounds to do so including if you are:
(i)    acting inappropriately, intoxicated, under the influence of drugs, adversely affecting the enjoyment of others; or
(ii)     otherwise in breach of the RFC Event Code of Conduct, these Terms & Conditions or any Venue Terms and Conditions. 
(d)    You remain responsible for the conduct of your guests. You acknowledge and agree that the RFC will not be liable for any loss or damage to you or your guests as a result of any breach by you of this clause 7. 

8.    Exclusion of Liability
(a)    To the full extent permitted by law, the RFC and its officers, employees and agents, the  RFC’s related companies exclude all liability for any loss (including any damage, claim, injury, cost or expense,) which is suffered or incurred by you or any individual in connection with the Event, including but not limited to: (i) any Ticket that is lost, altered, damaged or misdirected due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the RFC; (ii) any direct, indirect, economic or consequential loss; (iii) any theft of personal property at an Event; or (iv) any liability for personal injury or death at an Event.
(b)    Nothing in these conditions limit, exclude or modify or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), as well as any other implied warranties under similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia. 

9.    Privacy
(a)    The RFC is committed to protecting the privacy of your personal information.  The RFC will only use your personal information provided by you for the purposes of: (i) processing your booking and Ticket purchase; (ii) communicating with you about the Event(s); (iii) arranging your attendance at the Event; (iv) communicating with you about RFC news, events, special offers or  promotions (Purposes) unless you opt out of receiving such communications by either (A) unsubscribing from the emailed communications by clicking on the unsubscribe link; or (B) contacting a RFC representative at sales@richmondfc.com.au
(b)    The RFC may disclose such information to its related entities and contractors (including the Venue Operators) for those Purposes, unless the RFC is otherwise advised.
(c)    If you do not provide the requested personal information, then this may prevent the RFC from processing, and communicating with you about your booking and Ticket(s).
(d)    The RFC’s Privacy Policy (available at www.richmondfc.com.au) contains further details regarding how you can access or correct information the RFC holds about them, how the RFC can make a privacy related complaint, how that complaint will be dealt with and the extent to which such personal information may be disclosed to overseas recipients

10.    Use of Images
By purchasing a Ticket and attending an Event, you agree to the RFC’s use of your image and/or voice for marketing and advertising (in any form of media) that the RFC may choose for an unlimited period without remuneration or benefit. 

11.    Governing Law 
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the law of the State of Victoria. 

 

12. Early Bird Offer

Use code EARLY10 for 10% off total hospitality purchases for eligible fixtures and functions in 2024. This offer excludes all Corporate Suites and experiences and sponsorships and is limited to hospitlaity functions, excluding Round 1 vs Carlton, Round 7 vs Melbourne and Round 11 vs Essendon. This offer will expire on 31st December 2023 (Online) and expire Wednesday 20th December via phone or email.
